Note: This is not a beginner crochet class. Basic stitches, increases and decreases should be known.

1 skein of fingering weight yarn in main color

mini skeins of fingering/sock weight yarn- plied preferably- especially if this will be handled often or a toy for a child.

Size B crochet hook

Note: this hippo could be made with thicker yarn like DK or worsted, but keep in mind- size, yarn yardage and hook needed will vary!
